Abu Dhabi Pipe Factory was established in 1981, in technical collaboration with Cord International, a French company. We are one of the leading manufacturers of Glass Reinforced Plastic Pipes and Fittings in the Gulf with manufacturing facilities now at both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. We are the largest company in United Arab Emirates with more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing Glass Reinforced Plastic Pipes and Fittings. The methods employed for the manufacturing of GRP pipes are Dual helical filament winding and Continuous filament winding, also known as Drostholm process.

Since 1981, thousands of kilometers of ADPF pipes have been installed in a variety of applications like petrochemical plants, sewerage lines, drainage lines, desalination plants, potable water supply, cooling water lines, fire-fighting system and many more. ADPF Pre-insulated pipes have been installed in various district cooling projects for the distribution of chilled water.

Abu Dhabi Pipe Factory has been certified to ISO 9001. ISO 9001 is a model for quality assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation and Servicing. ADPF has also been certified to ISO 14001. In addition to these, our pipes have been approved by many other International Organizations like Factory Mutual Research (FM) for usage in the fire-fighting systems, American Petroleum Institute (API – 15 LR & 15 HR) for usage in oil and gas industry and have WRc Approval for the usage in potable water system.

The Factory has a total area of 170,000 m² of which the production area is 40,000 m² (Abu Dhabi and Dubai together). Our production capacity is 50,000 Tons of Pipes and Fittings per annum. We have a combined 10 production lines for Dual helical winding process and 5 for Continuous winding process. Both our units have fully equipped in house Quality control laboratory to carry out all short term and long term tests specified for GRP / GRV / GRE pipes. Our pipes and fittings fully conform to the international Standards such as AWWA, BS, ASTM, ANSI and API.
